Spring Flower Power Fundraiser - 2024
Are you already tired of the cold weather and thinking about spring? Well, we've got just the thing for you!
Yes, we are doing it again! We're running a fundraiser this spring with flowers, veggies, and herbs! There are over 60 items available and orders will be shipped directly to you! All orders will be done online with a $6.99 flat rate shipping through the contiguous United States (per order so if you order more than once it will be $6.99 for each order). Shadow Cats TNR will receive 40% of sales under $500 and 50% of sales over $500. Right now we've set the goal for $1000 but would love to surpass that!
Sales are open now through May 15th so plenty of time to shop! Orders will start to ship April 1st in the order in which orders were placed. Orders will be shipping on a weekly basis. You will receive tracking information once your order has shipped. This company offers a 100% "grow guarantee" which means they do replacements but not refunds (since this is a fundraiser it would mean taking money away from organizations).

Alecraft Brewery Give Back Fundraiser
Located in the heart of downtown Bel Air, Alecraft Brewery has been offering a wide range of custom brews for several years. Their passion for beer is equal to their passion for animals. We couldn’t be happier to have them as supporters!
Wednesday, November 1st, Alecraft Brewery will be holding a fundraiser in our honor! Starting at 5pm, they will be donating $1 from every beer sold until 9pm that evening. While beer is their main focus, they do allow outside food. You can order food for delivery or bring food with you. OR you can order food from Bird's Nest and they'll donate 15% from their food purchases to us. Win-win!
We will also be on hand with an information booth that day. We will be joining the celebration from 5-9pm….and we may even have a little guest or two with us. We hope to see you there!
Vagabond Sandwich Company Fundraiser
Vagabond Sandwich Company has been generous to us over the last few years and they are yet again helping us out. They have graciously offered to hold a proceeds fundraiser for us.

Come join us for a night of fun at the Darlington Volunteer Fire Company Saturday, September 16th from 6-10pm
When the doors open at 6pm, you’ll enjoy a DJ with music and dancing, light fare and refreshments. A cash/card bar for beer and wine will also be available. We will be having silent auctions, raffle baskets, a 50/50 raffle, and a SCTNR Adoptable Cute Cat Photo Contest. This event is open to all ages. It should be loads of fun for everyone! Bring your family and friends along…the more the merrier!
SCTNR is committed to controlling the cat population within our communities through spaying/neutering and vaccination. This includes pets, adoptable cats, working cats, and outdoor community cats. SCTNR adopts cats into the best suited and loving homes through our Foster and Barn Cat programs. Since 2016 we have been able to spay/neuter and vaccinate over 10,000 cats! With fundraisers and donations we can continue our mission of helping cats and the people who care for them in our communities.
Donations are always welcome! We are also currently accepting donations of pet food (wet and dry), cat litter, pee pads, cat toys, gift cards for PetSmart, Petco, Chewy, hard sided carriers.

Tickets
Ticket price for adults and kids 13 and older is $10/person. Ticket price for kids 12 and under is $5/person. Presale tickets are available for purchase below. You can purchase tickets at the door as well, if we do not sell out during the presale. Every person in attendance will need a ticket for entry in to the event.

On Tuesday, August 15th, from 5-9pm, the kind folks at Jarrettsville Creamery & Deli have offered to donate 10% of their proceeds to our organization. No flyer is needed so you only need to mention our name! We will have a table on hand to provide information and brochures.

Clear The Shelters Event - 2023
Come join us August 12th at the Abingdon PetSmart from 12-3pm!
We will be having an in person event which usually ends up being our biggest adoption event of the year. We will have raffle baskets, SCTNR merchandise for sale, goody bags for adopters and lots of adoptable cats!
Want to take home your new best friend(s) at the event? Submit an application by August 6th for review and approval! Didn’t make the deadline? Don’t worry, you can submit an application at the event and once approved, you can take home your new friend later.

Delta & Cardiff Heritage Festival
Come discover, learn and celebrate the unique history of the Delta and Cardiff areas of Pennsylvania. There will be displays, demonstrations, vendors and more. In addition to the celebrations, there will be a 5k walk/run that morning that benefits Shadow Cats TNR! A $10 donation is being asked of all participants in the 5k. Cute Cat Photo Contest
We are hosting a Cute Cat Photo Contest to help us raise money for our organization. The photos will be presented at the event for voting. We will be selling raffle tickets for folks to cast their votes. The photo with the most votes will win the contest. Contest winner will receive gift cards from The Mill at Whiteford, Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds Company…plus bragging rights and the great feeling of supporting us in the area!
We are asking for a $5 donation per picture in order to enter this contest. Of all entries, a total of 20 pictures will be selected by SCTNR volunteers to move on to the final round of voting. Simply send an email to us at media@shadowcatstnr.org saying you’d like to enter. Donations will need to be made via Facebook as they don’t take out any fees. Once your donation is confirmed you will be sent a link to upload your photo.
To enter the photo contest you must meet the following requirements:
You must reach out to us via email PRIOR to making your donation to enter the contest.
Photo must be of a cat(s). No other animals, no humans, no kids, no graphics or text.
Photo must be high quality as they will be printed for display at the event for voting. (Preferably 2:3 aspect ratio for display purposes)
Deadline to submit photos is September 30th.
Voting will take place at the Delta & Cardiff Heritage Festival the day of the event. We will have the top 20 photos on display at the event. During the event, the public will have a chance to cast their votes to help pick the winner! We will be asking for donations to cast a vote. It will be $1 for one vote, $5 for 6 votes, $10 for fifteen votes. So, if you want to increase the chances of your photo winning, come join us at the festival and vote!
House of Hope Animal Rescue - Paws in the Park (Copy)
House of Hope Animal Rescue has once again extended their invitation to all local nonprofits and we are glad we can join in!
"This will be a fun event filled with dogs at the park. Lots of vendors, activities, raffles, yard sale, magician, cartoonist, DJ, food trucks and much more!"
There will also be a walk that begins at 10:15 AM. In-person registration begins at 9:00 AM the day of the walk, but you can register online in advance by visiting their website by clicking here. Registration is $30 per adult walker, and $10 per child.
Blessing of the Animals & Pet Expo
Free admission. Blessing service will take place at 1:00 p.m. with individual pet blessings after the service; free gift with each blessing. This is also National Pet Memorial Day – the event organizer will recognize our loved pets who are no longer with us. Vendors, animal rescues, free children's activity table, bake sale, HDG Police K-9 unit demonstration at 2:30 p.m., and a fun filled time at the park with your pets!

Dog's Days in the Park
Dogs’ Day in the Park is an annual event for Animal Rescue, Inc. The event will be held at the Marge Goodfellow Park in New Freedom, PA on August 20, 2022. Humans and dogs alike are invited to join ARI for a day of fun to raise money for our Sanctuary for Life. The Mutt Strutt, a walk for pets, will be from 8 am to 10 am, and the main event will take place 10 am to 4 pm. The day includes vendors and rescues, games and contests, a flea market, Chinese Raffle, Silent Auction, cruelty-free foods, demonstrations, Rent-A-Dog, a lure course and much, much more.

PETsMART National Adoption Week (Copy)
Summer PETsMART National Adoption Week!
Come visit us and some of our adorably adoptable cats at both the Petsmart Abingdon and Bel Air over several days.
While it may not look like we have a lot of cats within our care, we do! Several of our cats are in fosters homes getting the TLC they need before they become available for adoption. We believe in giving the cats a little bit of time to adjust to their new environments and get a feel for their personalities. This allows us to help better match you with you new kitty! With that said, we love to have approved applications on file, especially during kitten season, which is fast approaching.
We are also looking to recruit more volunteers, especially fosters and trappers!
